until i finish my new picture, this is my favorite... i'll probably get less views for doing this though :( for the record, there's no computer manipulation in this picture... it's done entirely in .5 lead mechanical pencil. this is a photograph of a copy that i kept for myself. the original is hanging in my sister's apartment bedroom

Takin' a while

I haven't forgotten to post my new picture up... it's just taking me forever to finish drawing it. It's a big picture, hell, probably about six or seven times larger than anything I've ever drawn... So, I'd figure that if an 8.5X11 inch piece of paper takes me about three months of on/off drawing to finish, this one's bound to take me a little longer... For the record, It's all freehand with a .5 mechanical pencil. That takes some time to fill in

it's prime time for a lot of people to join :P from what i've heard (at least in my local newspaper), the whole economic situation is leaving a lot of people with fewer options. if one can get in, the military is a pretty safe occupation. i just joined because i failed my cop exam three times, lol. i figure a little more experience outside of college'll help me become a cop.... that and i can feel like a tough guy when i say "i'm in security forces" ha!
